SYNOPSIS

Santino is a circus child. His great-grandfather is one of the last great circus directors in Germany and tells him the stories of his ancestors. Of contortionists, breakneck tricks and bull elephants. CIRCUS KID tells of the lives of Germany's last nomads - of growing up with a big family and animals, of a life free as a bird. A documentary road movie for young audiences about the life of a circus family between realism and magic.
