GERMAN TV AWARD FOR “MESUT”

FLARE´s acclaimed docu series "MESUT ÖZIL - ZU GAST BEI FREUNDEN" has been awarded BEST DOCU SERIES at the Deutschen Fernsehpreis 2026 , the quasi German Emmys.

The three-part documentary series, based on the same-titled podcast series, chronicles the extraordinary rise and dramatic fall of one of Germany's greatest soccer talents—while also raising uncomfortable questions about German society.

All episodes are available on the ZDF Mediathek platform in Germany.
